NAE Federal Credit Union membership share savings account in Chesapeake, VA is a basic savings account.  When you join NAE, you will start by opening your membership share account with just $5 and as long as your account remains open, you remain a member.  Dividends compound and pay quarterly based on the Average Daily Balance in the account.  Share account deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000. What documents will I need to open an account at NAEFCU?

  • A completed membership application at the branch
  • A $5.00 membership fee
  • A $5.00 opening deposit to a Savings Account/no fee or deposit to open a Checking Account
  • A valid picture ID (Virginia or NC State issued ID, a driver’s license, military ID, Passport)
  • A valid second form of ID (Social Security card, vehicle registration, recent W-2)
  • Proof of current physical residential address (PO Box addresses are not acceptable, but can be used as a Mailing address)
