NAE has always been a relationship business and we know one of the best ways to serve our members is to communicate with them early and often. While the coronavirus requires us to limit face-to-face interactions, we are taking steps to ensure that members can access the services and advice they need, while protecting our members and our employees’. Member accounts can be accessed via ATMs, NAE Online Banking, NAE Mobile App, NAE Audio Response Teller and/or NAE Member Call Center. NAE encourages our members to use these channels before coming to the branch in person.  We are aware that members may still require access to the branch. Steps have taken to ensure the safety of our members and staff when handling in-person transactions.

The novel coronavirus, first and foremost, is a health challenge. It can be spread through droplets when a person coughs or sneezes and can live for several days on surfaces. With that in mind, keeping our branches clean is critical.  NAE will be cleaning surfaces thoroughly to help minimize the risk of person-to-person transmission.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that individuals keep a six-foot distance of separation when interacting with others.  NAE has placed markers in the lobbies to help reinforce this recommendation and shields have been installed at the teller counters in an effort to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

NAE will reopen branch lobbies, in a limited capacity, to serve our members beginning Monday, June 1, 2020.  (Effective Monday, August 3, 2020, the Cromwell Drive Office is open normal hours. 9:30am - 5:00pm)

Lobby Hours:
Monday – Friday      9:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday Morning’s   9:00am -10:00am  Senior Citizens and those with special needs will have priority.

Drive thru Hours:
Monday – Friday      9:00am - 6:00pm

During the first phase, we are limiting the number of members permitted in the lobby at one time to 5 members/non-members.  Each office will have a greeter at the door giving qualified members/non-members access to the lobby.  Each person requesting access to the lobby will have to provide their ID, answer a few questions, wear a face mask, have their temperature taken, and provide a reason for needing access to the lobby (New Account, Loan, Safe Deposit Box, etc.).  Anyone with a temperature greater than 100.3 will not be allowed access.  Members that can process their transactions via the drive-thru are encouraged to do so for their health as well as our staff.  At this time, we are only permitting the person conducting the transaction to have access to the lobby.
